I am the new Neighborhood Administrator for the City of Fort Collins and am currently working on the organization of our Landlord Education Series. You are receiving this email because you either requested information as soon as fall dates were available or you were registered in April when the series was cancelled. We are still compiling the detailed schedule but we do know that the dates will be October 25 and November 1, 12:45 pm to 5:00 pm. Classes will be held in the Community Room at 215 North Mason Street. I will send out a detailed agenda to all who have registered and paid, once it is completed. If you have any questions, please let me know. I am able to tell you that topics to be covered include resident selection, fair housing, occupancy, police matters, leases, evictions, rental housing standards, nuisance codes and city programs.
The cost for the entire series is $20. To register, contact Melanie Clark at mclark@fcgov.com or call 970-416-2351. Payment must be received and processed in order to confirm registration. Credit card payments can be made by phone. Cash and check payments can be dropped off at Neighborhood Services, 281 North College, second floor or mailed to: Neighborhood Services, 281 N College, Fort Collins, CO 80521. Please make checks payable to The City of Fort Collins and be sure to include phone number, email address and mailing address to assure proper processing.
