There is a great article about the lack of good news in the media these days. They point out that not everything is “doom and gloom” and we have to balance our outlook based on a level playing field. If investors look in the right places, they can find more comfort in the economy and its outlook.
For example, they reference Oklahoma City and its health care, education and aerospace industries which are all growing and thriving.
In our own backyard, we are definitely feeling the impact of the slowing. However, we are weathering it quite nicely so far. With a good unemployment number and areas that are continuing to grow, like Windsor. Our strong education, health care and clean energy industries provide us with a relatively stable economy and rosy outlook.
