Upcoming NMHC Webinar on New Lead-Based Paint Regulations

Dear NMHC Member:

Registration is now open for a special webinar NMHC is hosting on newly issued EPA lead-based paint (LBP) regulations.

Join us on Friday, November 21 at 1:00 pm (EST) as we convene an expert panel to discuss how these regulations affect your property management staff.

Among other things, the regulations require maintenance workers who will potentially disturb LBP to receive EPA-approved training and, in some cases, to become certified to carry out routine operations and maintenance (O&M) procedures.

Registration is free for NMHC members ($50 for non-members).  Space is limited and registration will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Panelists will include:

Patrick Connor of CONNOR;
Mike Wilson, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics; and
Warren Friedman, Ph.D., CIH, Senior Advisor to the Director, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control

Sincerely,

Doug Bibby
