TIMNATH – Walmart has opened a temporary “hiring center” in south Fort Collins as it works toward hiring 425 full- and part-time workers for its new store in Timnath.
The company is accepting applications at the old Walmart building at the intersection of College Avenue and Harmony Road. The new Walmart Supercenter is scheduled to open on April 29. Most employees will start work in March to prepare for the opening.
Walmart started taking applications at the hiring center on Feb. 2 and continues to do so from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. The company is hiring for all positions, including management.
